A gripping drama set in Louisiana in the late 1940s which chronicles the transformation of a young African-American man unjustly accused of murder.

Auditions will be held in November—please visit the site later for details.
Performances will run February 6-21, 2009.

Director Pat Marotta is looking for actors to audition for the following race-specific role
s.

Paul Bonin—Caucasian, 20s to early 30s
Emma Glenn— African American, 60 to 70s
Grant Wiggins— African American, 20s to 30s
Sam Guidry (sheriff)—Caucasian, 40s and up
Jefferson— African American, late teens to 20s
Vivian Baptiste— African American, 20s to 30s
The Reverend Moses Ambrose—African American, 50s to 60s
Children, grade-school age (they will provide a chorus of voices for pre-recorded parts but will not appear on stage)
